Darth_Legois Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 (edited) Hi after looking at some of the new exo-force sets in the 08 catalog they look pretty cool and im trying to make an Army (mainly Indiana Jones sets) to defend my city and i think adding some exo-force sets would help i've never bought an exo-force set before :-$ but heres a list of sets that i would buy but i want to know if they're any good. I dont think some of them have been released yet though :-/ 1.Sky Guardian 2.Assault Tiger 3.Blade Titan 4.Chameleon Hunter 5.River Dragon 6.Silent Hunter :-/ also can you recomend any exo-force sets that arent in that list. :-$ PS:I added the silent hunter to the list. dillthepill Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 Well, I had the Blade Titan and Sky Guardian, but didn't like them too much. The Tiger, Dragon, and Chameleon are all phenomenal though, you can see my reviews for them and the robot '08 sets here, I posted this on The Robots Workshop. Quote
Corvus Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 I have Sky Guardian and Blade Titan, and I'll recommend SG. I absolutely hated Blade Titan for his arms that stuck out. SG is the same, but somehow it looks good on him. *wacko* Will Quote
Darth_Legois Posted January 26, 2008 Author Posted January 26, 2008 Thanks for the tips *y* the first (definatly not last) set i will get will be the Sky Guardian probable next time i go to the shops i will get it. Quote
Ricecracker Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 thats a pretty good list you got there! but yes, the blade titan is :-/ . i would also recommend bridge walker vs. white lightning. not sure though, as your list is more on the $20(us) price range Quote

iamded Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 I'd definitely recommend Arachnoid Stalker. Sure, it's not human-based like the other ones, but humans could still operate it, and you could think of it as a rough terrain mech. *sweet* You can see my review here if you want too. ~Peace Quote
Darth_Legois Posted January 26, 2008 Author Posted January 26, 2008 (edited) Thanks *y* man i wish i started buying exo-force sets earlier! 8- Edited January 26, 2008 by Darth_Legois_619 Quote

Brickmaster Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 Get the 2008 Mechs (chameleon and tiger). These new models are so much better than the old ones in my opinion - way more fun to play with and customize, I love their setup. You aren't missing out on much from the old mechs - trust me. |-/ They're impossible to play with, as all the joints are stiff click joints, in this year, theyre hybrids of ball joints and click. Get the new 2008 ones ;-) Quote

Also, I do like Bridge Walker vs White Lightning alot, although it is rather pricy, but there shoudl be good sales for it somewhere. Quote
Darth_Legois Posted January 26, 2008 Author Posted January 26, 2008 I think it's good, it'd be neat to have an army of them. X-D That would be COOL! *y* 8- Quote
Kynok Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 Ooo! The Assault Tiger is my favorite. I just love thos bell bottoms :-P. But seriously. The Assault Tiger is a breakthrough in Exo-Force. As a collector of EF since '06, that baby is my best mech out of all three years... IMO. Quote
