KotZ Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Emile received a letter to go sail from Eltina and meet along the coast. Anchoring The Athena, he set out with Gilbert, Henri, and Jean to meet the mysterious man. A man from Mardier. With a chest. "I can see why you wanted to meet outside of the town," Emile told the man as he approached. "Fancy piece of armor you have there, Master...?" "Ambassador is fine," the man replied. "And it helps prtoect me. Never know when you'll deal with a pirate." "I'll venture to guess 'Ambassador' is not your actual title." Emile Perreault adjusted the sword at his side. "Former pirate, mind you." "Is that not what you are doing for Oleon now? Just a different title?" he questioned through his accent. "You could say that. Open the chest." The Ambassador obliged. Emile peaked inside, scanning the contents. The captain continued, "All this for me and my crew? To do what I'm supposed to for my country?" "Think of it as a bonus, Captain Perreault." Emile looked back in the chest. With his foot, he closed the lid. "I don't like them the same as you. But being caught taking money from a foreign power? That's likely to bite me in the rear, Ambassador. I'll stick with my pay from Oleon and the hauls my men and I bring in." He took a step back. Then another. He motioned to his men to turn the rowboat around and return to the ship. Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Cool story-build, KotZ. I like the beach and the simplistic, yet effective slopes for waves. Some more water 'pieces' might be nice to see next time, but all in all - good job. Can't wait for the next chapter. Keep it up Quote

Yeah, nature and all that are really tough for me, never seem to get them right. But that's what practice is for. Quote

I can't seem to create what I usually have in my mind. Maybe KB and others around here will give us some lessons, else keep just keep a close look at others mocs and keep experimenting! I like your stories and posing a lot though, so enjoy your staying here and please continue to entertain us all Quote
