Victor Imaginator Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 No rubber is stretched, so no damage over time. 100% pure lego solution. Maybe someone will find this useful) Quote
ThomasGraafland Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 The rim would look a bit small on a sports car, but that can easily be covered. Very smart solution! Quote
Attika Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Great idea. I've just put it together to see how it performs and it is promising. Made a minor change however, I swapped the beams with a long ribbed hose. Thanks for sharing, I like it. (By the way the cv joint socket looks pretty abused on the picture.. Another thumb up ) Quote
Victor Imaginator Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 @ThomasGraafland Thanks) @Attika You're welcome) Ribbed hoses is great idea... i should make another supercar. Quote

TheMindGarage Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I've tried this before and it's not a bad solution, but I've got a special steering linkage in use in my current MOC that will put the steering pivot in the center of the wheel. It can be used with independent suspension, but not with drive. Quote
1gor Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 for off-roads you can combine tire 68.7 x 34 with truck 62.4 x 20 wheel / tire combination eith positive offset and better steering pivot Quote
