JamesJT Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) I started having a look at TC11 today but my spinning disc turned into a ferris wheel and then a hamster wheel... Edited March 22, 2017 by JamesJT Updated Video Quote
Thirdwigg Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Good to see you back and building. Fun little MOC. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 What? A Lego Hamster that wasn't built by @Sariel? What is this madness? It's so funny. I like it a lot. Quote
ColletArrow Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Good little MOC for a laugh! I think (I haven't had hamsters for a couple of years) it's even accurate in the way when it starts up it slips backwards, and then surges forwards when it stops. Whether this was intentional or not I don't know, but overall it's pretty cool! Quote

Yes, no lego for 6 months then 5 MOCs in 3 weeks. 2 hours ago, ColletArrow said: ... the way when it starts up it slips backwards, and then surges forwards when it stops. Whether this was intentional or not... Played for! there is a rubber band that pulls the rodent clockwise. 37 minutes ago, LvdH said: I bet Sariel approves this creation . I hope so, I will change it to "gerbil wheel" if I'm stepping on any toes. The "trick" with this one (if anybody is wondering) is that the wheel makes the rodents head and legs move while gravity and a rubber band hold the hamster in place. Quote
dr_spock Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Fun to watch build. Does it work with real hamster or guinea pig? Quote
Criosphynx Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Thanks for the laugh, this is an awesome moc Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 This is so funny, wait till Sariel gets wind of this, he'll go nuts over it. Quote
Victor Imaginator Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Wow) Now i clearly understand the reason why TLG produce these large yellow quarter circles. Quote
Sariel Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 I applaud this, even if the hamster looks somewhat suspiciously like a goat ;) Quote
Lasse D Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Now that's just super cute, and it seems to work extremely well. I have to give you cudos for the legs. I built a running hamster myself yesterday, but I went the easy route and replaced the legs with wheels. Quote
teos Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 That's really neat. I'd love to see detailed photos or pay a little money for instructions. I know some people that would get a kick out of this. Quote
