SirBlake Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Here's the latest widenification (not a real word): My apologies that some of the photos are a little fuzzy. I was testing portrait mode on my camera and while it does nice dramatic depth of field, it requires some distance and cropping. I'll try and take crisper pics. This one was really fun. Due to the way it's constructed, the sides detach from the inner structure really well which made widening a breeze. I will say however that the front end/headlights were really tough. This is a much more organic shaped front end than most cars, and I don't love this solution, but it's what I came up with for now. I'll update this thread if I find a better solution. I am however pretty happy with the lower front fascia. I think it captures the face of the car better than either swappable option in the set. Here's a link to the latest round of Speed Champions MODs (Ford GT/GT40) which includes links within it to the many other SC mods I've done in the past. Quote
letsbuild Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I recommend lenghtening the models as well. It looks too unnatural. Quote
SirBlake Posted February 24, 2017 Author Posted February 24, 2017 I appreciate the recommendation, but I'm cool with it as it sits. Looks much more natural to my eye than the stock set, and that's good enough for me. (thanks for the photo, Brick Fan) Quote
gotoAndLego Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) Have you tried doing a bit of curve to the rear-sides of the cabin? Edited February 25, 2017 by gotoAndLego Quote

I haven't, but I'm open to ideas. Any examples of part usage you can provide? I'm not sure I exactly understand what you're saying. Quote
