Hello. The basis was taken the car VolksWagen Crafter.

That's what came out of it

1. The model is made according to the drawings of a real car. Keeping all proportions, as far as it allows you to make Lego.

2. In the cockpit, a width of 6 pins, fits 2 minifigures

With Outlook can finish and go to functions.

7. The platform is fully functional

8. Before raising the platform, lower the support. They, too, not just props, and do not really give the car to lean back.

9. After lifting, the platform retracts

10. Hydraulic pistons lifting platform.

12. And dragged onto the platform.

Very impressive. A lot of functionality in a tight package, all while looking stunningly accurate to the source material. Well done!

My only suggestion for improvement (which clearly isn't required considering the final product that you've put up, but I'll say it anyway), would be to swap the trans-clear headlights for trans-black to more accurately reflect the dark surrounds of the headlights.

Very nice design.  The cab work very well, especially the inclined bonnet, and the rear had incorporated interesting mechanism and worked like the real thing.

I believed this may be the first Crafter in lego (in minifig scale) I see on the web, it is excellent to see new vehicle is made from lego.  (I always want to make a crafter too!)

My only suggestion would be the wheelbase of the vehicle, from your photos, I think it is approximately 16 stud (front wheel centre to rear wheel centre), I would suggest take 1 or 2 stud away by moving the rear forward a bit, without modifing the platform, as it is common for the platform to overhang.  The reason is that when I did my long wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter, I found 14 stud wheelbase seems a good minfig ratio.  For short wheelbase Sprinter/ Crafter, I found 12 stud work well.

Thanks for sharing your work
