dulsi Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 My wife and I went to the adult build night at the Lego store last night. It was fun although the kids felt we spent too much time. We got the rose to build as expected. It was kinda annoying they didn't have a finished picture of the rose except the end of the instructions. For small builds like that I prefer to try building from a picture instead of using the instructions. Unfortunately I couldn't help seeing how they added the petals. Additionally they gave out a log cabin and had a pile of bricks for you to customize it. Surprisingly my wife even allowed modifications. We added a garage and yard. (She said no to any eyes on things.) Talked with another couple building at the same time. Promoted Brickfair NE to them. Quote

Although it does seem strange to have an adult night on Valentine's Day. Your sweetheart would have to be really understanding. But several times we have visited LegoLand CA on Valentine's Day.
