BurkusCircus Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Hey guys, I recently got Lego City 60103 Airport Air Show in a raffle. Normally this wouldn't require me saying anything about it, but one thing in the hanger caught my eye... It's a 6x24 dark grey plate used for the hanger roof. I'm wondering if it's at all possible to somehow use these pieces as a base for a train car/engine. I realize that there's no holes for the top of the pivots, but I'm thinking that I can add a 2x2 plate with hole in center to serve that purpose? So thoughts on this and it's realisticness? -Burkus Oops, accidentally created 2. Admins can you merge them? Quote
Carefree_Dude Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 You could easily add plates with holes to the bottom to turn them into train plates, but I'm not sure why you would want to. Actual train plates are lighter, would hold together better, and be more sturdy Quote
dr_spock Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 You can mount the bogies to the plate using 2x2 or 4x4 turntables. Quote

Hm, hadn't thought of that... I like it, especially the 4x4 idea.... Quote
