Mike S Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Vernon Cloggs did not like Serentia, at least the area near Stormhaven where Mr. Coyle had hired him to do his prospecting. It was hot, muggy, and buggy. But Mr. Coyle paid well and soon, with a little luck, he would have enough doubloons to spend a month in Charlatan Bay enjoying all the pleasures that Sea Rat town had to offer. Quote
Kai NRG Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Very nice semi-connected technique for the water! Looks great! Good idea with the sieve too. Quote
Captain Genaro Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 A simple but nice build. You did a nice job with the transition from water to grass and the partially connected blue tiles make the stream appear very swift. I would recommend adding some additional details to the banks, perhaps some rocks or changes in elevation, but other than that it's a fun little build. Quote
Bregir Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Great little scene, Mike. It's main allure to me, though, is the thoughts it sparks in my mind for how the mine will eventually look! Great work! Quote
Kwatchi Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 I like this one the most of your two prospecting builds. Your stream bed shows some real ingenuity to get that sense of movement and the colour gradation of the shoreline adds to it perfectly. And the nagry face works (no one likes working in soaking wet boots). Best of luck with the results! Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Lovely prospecting scene, Mike The flowing water effect is my favorite, but that sieve on the bucket - great detail! Just... your 'prospecteers' seem in such a bad mood. Don't let mathematical odds of striking wealth bring them down - have a little faith Quote
