"With the the undead it's something of a mixed bag, some retain their original personalities, others don't, it's hard to tell without asking them. I think it's related to how soon after death they're raised. As to your original question, I have had dealings with them in the past, and though some of them were unfriendly, most of them were perfectly reasonable, normal people like you and me. He was born in Salmanda but ended up serving emperor Emeraldo in Dastan as a weather mage before he was dethroned. He also served as an advisor to several of the dwarven kings later but I'm not sure of it was in the capacity of a weather mage." Quote

Three of them got away, including their leader and a Black Knight Throlar had fought previously. They used some sort of teleportation device I believe." Quote

As for Heroica, we are difficult to kill, but not impossible." He briefly touched his shoulder. "I remember nearly being split in half once, I still have the scar from that battle.
