Before Hoke to finish his thought, he saw the barbarian addressing the squid-like person who could be their target.

"One moment if you will," he says as he walks briskly over to the barbarian.

"There you are!", he says as he grabs Torald,"Sorry lads if his big fellow is bothering you.  Too much grog and too long on the sea for a first timer.  Sorry about that! Enjoy these drinks on me," he says as he waves the barkeep over for 2 more rums and ushers the barbarian to the bar.

"Stay here and try to keep out of trouble," he whisperes harshly to the barbarian.

He turns back to the Amelia, a slight grin on his face.

"Sorry about that, but where were we?"

Lovely drink. Nice and stong, makes you feel like a man. Aah, yes. Just got in, flew in aboard an airship. The sea makes me seasick, so I stay away from it if I can avoid it. But what kind of ship is the Whaling Johnny? Is it for catching whales, or is it a trading ship?

Hey, if hate the after-taste. I don't think their is much anyone can do about it. Xu!? I think I am heading there. It has something to do with the Jet Pi and establishing a colony there. 

What would you have someone do, punch you in the face.  For a second I thought you just didn't like the helmet I was wearing.

"An airship *Hic*? At least if ya fall overboard at sea ya can still swim, one wrong move up in the clouds and *Hiccup* Splat! Ha!" The captain takes a swig from his tankard. "The Whaling Johnny ain't just for whales lad. Sea monsters of all kinds bring quite a bit of profit. And who better then merfolk to dash into the deep to bring in the quarry? Sadly some of the lads been wishin' they could spend a little more time on land, might loose a few if I can't find another commission soon."

"Eubric? That's quite a distance. Can't say we have any regulars from there as most of our patrons sail the Jade Sea. I think the Rosalind may have been out that way once."

Hey, hey, hey, no I am just using them. I don't know enough about their political "Crayola" to even care about the blue skinned devil's. They could be extinct for all I care. Just to show what nice guy I could be I will give you two a tip. You know about those seirens or harpies that are near here. Well recently I help clean out some mancore problems they were having. And now they said they will leave any ships flying the Creston Union banner alone. So if you just happen to be nearby their colony, you to can use the Jet Pi for your own needs too. 

Oh, no reason. He looks like he "Parker Brothers" people off faster than Giovanni or even me. You two are not friends with the guy?

Well excuse me. I thought everyone in here was some sort of sailor. I should know better being a mercenary. What is the Crescent Union? Well how to describe it, Eurobrick or the "free port" as it gets call sometimes. Has these "noble houses" and three of the houses formed this Sungold Alliance. Now the other three houses got "Parker Brothers" so they formed the Crescent Union. I guess the Sungold are run by a bunch of old geezers, I don't think they want things to change. For the Crescent they seem to be more on the scientific side of things, I only joined up with them because they invited me. ... What does Mr. Giovanni do ,if you are not a sailor? 

Who Billy? A ladies man, or the Captain?

Oh, you are so right! And the Aoi are involved in the Crescent Union that much I guarantee. A dock worker hun, you must be busy most of the time? 

Couldn't help but look around at the mention of a naked human. Oh, I think this drink is getting to me because I am getting a little confused. So, it is Captain Notify next to the barbarian (technical he is only half-naked). And Billy the Krakkan is a gunner on your ship. As he points at the near by Krakkan. So what is your job on this ship, Ripton?
