Brickmaster Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 (edited) Well, among the brickshelf zoid find, I took my own challenge and decided to build a minifigure scale zoid! :-) I worked on it for a day, for a few hours, and just put on the last touches before I took these photos. I modeled it mostly after a particular zoid that a mercinary in season one drove.. I think it was Jack Sisco or something? And it was called.. a lightning saix? (prounounced 'psych') I am actually kinda happy with it, it's ment to be a super fast zoid, and it looks pretty slim. The design of zoids was much boxier than I originally expected - especially the liger zero 8- Edited January 21, 2008 by Brickmaster Quote
LuxorV Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Great work, for a first try, Brickmaster 8- Quote
zero1312 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Now that's one lovely kitty. *wub* Great work for a first attempt. *y* Quote

Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 (edited) Wow, this is really great! A lot better than I expected. It could use some weapon systems though. Funny, my sig-fig's name is Jack Cisco(pronounced the same as sisco I suppose) I must have remembered the name subconciously or something. :-D Or maybe I totally ripped it off. Brickmaster Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Thanks for the comments guys *sweet* So far I've beefed up the paws, and am currently building a weapons system, basically just a huge mounted gun. Other than that I think im just going to leave it as is untill I decide to take it apart :-$ The more I look at it the more I see how wrong I am and better ways to build it :-X (Just limited on parts, so I cant..) MicVash Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 You passed the challenge, my friend! Great work! The posibality is awesome! I know exactly who and what you are talking about! Yeah, Sisco was a mercenary, his zoid was super fast and was black and red. I was wondering, though if you ever tied your cat down to figure out the joints for your zoid! :-D I really like the cockpit. I would have never figured out how to make the windows look that good! I wouldn't have used those glass pieces like that! I wish the feet on this mech coulda been a bit more detailed and mechanical though, and maybe some more thickness in the tail, but this is still some great building here! I'd say your better at making zoids than making Halo right now! :-D Quote

iamded Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Very cool, Brickmaster! The head is very well done, even more so because it can hold a MF! Great job! *y* ~Peace Quote
