Does Lego always say when sets are due to retire?

I want to determine future purchases, will the Lego shop website always say when a set is due to retire?

I believe they have a set cycle for sets. But some are harder to pin than others.

Usually, there's fair warning. I do remember, though, many of the 2015 sets, in particular some of the Justice League-inspired DC sets, just sort of dropped into retirement out of the blue, and I had to scramble to find a different seller on Amazon for the last one I needed before the price skyrocketed.
