Mantarri Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I'm making a C model of 42043 MB Arocs 3245, and it would look so much cooler with a V6, but I can't seem to figure out how to make a stable V6 without the bracket pieces that go at either end ov the V fake engines in Lego models/MOCs. Any pictures/idea are appreciated. Quote
TechnicRCRacer Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 You could try using the T-shaped piece and add a 1x5 beam and an extra 1x3 beam in the shape of a bracket. The engine blocks should hold it in place. Quote
Blakbird Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Check any of Crowkillers' models including the free instructions for the Scorpion. He uses a built-up bracket. Quote

He uses a built-up bracket. Here's an LXF of a V12 with Crowkillers' studless engine bracket and here's a V8 with the gear inside, similar to Crowkillers' Scorpion. The DBG axle-pin connetors in the last one should be replaced with 3L ones. Edited January 14, 2017 by Didumos69 Quote
steph77 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 You can also build one 100% homemade engine without the technic cylinders. More compact, more room for détails and equal efficiency same principe in my porsche : V4 Regards, Steph. Quote
