comix Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I recently made two classic Scooby-Doo villains. The Witch Doctor and the Ghost of Elias Kingston. Normally, I try to stay purist but I found it impossible with these two. I'm overall pretty happy with the end results, but if anybody has any suggestions on how to improve them I'd be interested. I'm already trying to figure out a better color for Kingston's arms and legs. What the Hex Going On- Ghost of Elias Kingston by comixzombie, on FlickrA Tiki Scare is No Fair- Witch Doctor by comixzombie, on Flickr Quote
Darkdragon Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Those look great. The robe colors are a little off on both, but still recognizable on what you were trying to do. Did you make the robes/coats or are those from third party sellers? Quote

I got them from a seller on Bricklink called Cape Madness.https://www.bricklink.com/store/home.page?p=dingraham#/shop?o={"showHomeItems":1} I would have preferred something a little closer in color, specifically for the Witch Doctor, but they only had select colors for different pieces. But, I'm also going to order some sand blue arms and legs for Elias Kingston. I think that will match a lot better and differentiate a bit better between his clothes and his skin. Quote

comix Posted May 24, 2017 Author Posted May 24, 2017 Indian Witch Doctor: The only non-purist part is the loin cloth I got from Brick Warriors.http://Decoy for a Dog Napper- Indian Witch Doctor by comixzombie, on Flickr Vincent Van Ghoul from The 13 Ghosts of Scoob-Doo (He's not a villain, but he's super non-purist and I didn't want to start another thread)http://The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo- Vincent Van Ghoul by comixzombie, on Flickr Quote
