offroadcreations Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) Here is the updated V2: LDD http://bricksafe.com/files/Offroadcreations/extreme-chopped-hot-rod-v2/v2 E.C.H.R..lxf Rebrickable http://rebrickable.com/mocs/offroadcreations/extreme-chopped-hot-rod-v2 Here is the 1st version: Quote Hi everyone, Today I'm showing you my newest creation, the Extreme Chopped Hot Rod. It may look familiar to some, because I used the body and part of the chassis from Crowkillers' Chopped Hot Rod. It was made for looks, so the performance is okay. It is powered by and XL motor and has a Medium motor for steering. I added independent suspension for all of the wheels, too. There are 534 parts. Here is the LDD and Rebrickable: LDD Rebrickable Some more pictures: Please tell me what you think of it and have a great day! Edited January 15, 2017 by Offroadcreat1ons Quote
JJ2 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Looks cool, do you have enough parts to build it? Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Love it! Since the front end is lower I would suggest using smaller wheels. Or is there a reason you didn't? Quote
1gor Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Cool ratrod. Now imagine how cool it can be with tumbler tires. Quote
offroadcreations Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) @JJ2 I did build it IRL, but I thought renderings would look better. @2LegoOrNot2Lego... I wanted it to look like an offroader, but that is a good idea, so thank you. @I_Igor Thanks for the suggestion! Here are all your ideas combined: Edited January 9, 2017 by Offroadcreat1ons Quote

This is cool with rear fat tire and narrow front just like old-school hot rod. Great model - so simple and so cool. Quote

offroadcreations Posted January 12, 2017 Author Posted January 12, 2017 Thank you everyone for the compliments! I have decided to change the topic to a [WIP] and redo this model. It may be hard to see, but I felt like the front was way too wide, so I thinned the width by 2 studs. I am also going to change part of the chassis and body to make this MOC more original, On 1/8/2017 at 3:28 PM, Offroadcreat1ons said: because I used the body and part of the chassis from Crowkillers' Chopped Hot Rod. If anyone has any other ideas to add to the redesign, please tell me, because they would be greatly appreciated. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Love to see that you actually start building this...cool! Quote
offroadcreations Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) I have updated the first post with the V2 Hot Rod. I hope to have the LDD and Rebrickable ready soon. Also, the gears for the engine aren't reinforced, so that will be changed in the LDD. Edited January 14, 2017 by Offroadcreat1ons Quote
