Praetorian_ Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Hello This is The Forum of Nerva, my first MOC and the first step of a larger project that will include the reconstruction of all Imperial Fora of the Ancient Rome. In the Forum you will find The temple of Minerva on the Western End, and the Temple of Janus at the center of the square. On the East End there are three openings on the Roman Forum with a triumphal arch, and a scene with legionaries standing in formation in front of the Emperor. Behind the Temple of Minerva there is also the monumental entrance at the Imperial Fora, an exedra porticata called Porticus Absidata. At this time i'm working on my new project, the forum of Augustus, but I also plan to set the interior of the temple of Janus and to create roman citizens minifigures. Thanks for looking Any comments/feedback/suggestion welcomed Quote
zoth33 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 This is just insane. The building is gorgeous. I love all the statues at the top and all the columns and arches are great. That is an impressive army too. The detailing in the floors and walls is fantastic. Just awesome. Quote
DaBliss Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Well, you got me impressed! I can not get enough of all the details. And i'm in love with your number of Romans. It's insane. Quote
Dazz Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Your creation is really impressive, especially for a first MOC. For how long did you work on this forum? I hope you get to build another forum soon so you can show it here, too. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted January 4, 2017 Eurobricks Emperor Posted January 4, 2017 This is one of the most impressive Roman MOCs I've ever seen. So much planning, time and work must have been put into this. And I also like the nice Roman army force you have placed on the forum Quote
peedeejay Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Saw this at the fanweekend in Skaerbaek and was blown away. Outstanding! Quote

MaasEffekt Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Amazing! Would love to see Lego makes a theme around ancient Romans, or Greeks, or something in that era. In the name of Jupiter, this should be on the front page! Edited January 5, 2017 by Lazer Quote

Leonardo da Bricki Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Incredible! The sheer size is astounding, and it is beautifully made. I like the different statues arranged along the wall. Quote
