TitusV Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) Previous chapter On another sunny day (that is, on a not so gloomy day. We're in Nocturnus after all), Alric hasted himself to Gal Turok's offic (that is, a dark hole in the ever darker keep). This time though, the darkness fitted his mood. Now he had received a letter, and he'd tell that poor goblin who the boss is! Gal Turok: Ha, Alric. I did not expect you. Is ther anything? Alric: Well, actually, I... Euh... Let's say I wanted to - Gal Turok: Just say it man. I have others things to do then listening to Avalonian jabber. Alric: Yeah, now you say it, it is actually Avalonia I wanted to talk about. You know, I have received a letter from my wife, my love, my honey, my - Gal Turok: Oh, you mean that letter? I really couldn't stand to read it, man! How many words for "love you" do Avalonians need? Alric: He! The letters with my honey-ponny, that is: my wife, are - Gal Turok: Now stop interrupting me, damned! You wanted to talk about the Drow or not? Alric: Actually, I do. They are stealing our cattle, burning our houses, killing our men, raping our women and enslaving our children! They hung my favoured fool, how dared they? Gal Turok, trying to the best of his abilty not to laugh: Yup. How dared they. ---------- Thanks for looking, CC very welcome! Tudor-techniques by ZCerberus. I'm glad this got finally posted, it was my entry into the CBC (duel category). Also special thanks to @Mark of Falworth for organising that. More images on my Flickr. soccerkid6 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Excellent layout and the buidlings are well built. Good color choices and the cleaner style works nicely in this setting Quote

I really like this style, so you can expect some more half-timbered-tudor-styled houses from me! Quote
Slegengr Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Very nice half-timber houses, TitusV! You built the stonework and the timber/plaster very well! Building the houses at different angles really adds to the realism! I like the color choices. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Amazing scene - I love the houses. And the action is very well captured! Quote

Garmadon Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 A very nice build, Titus, great job with the Tudoring, and the stonework and vegetation are excellent as well! I'm really liking Alric and Gal Turok's dialog in the last three MOCs as well! One thing I'd nitpick about would be the section connecting the two houses - I don't know quite what it is, but it looks kind of like one of those rubbery bus connectors or and airport gate - maybe a window there or continuing the Tudor across would help. Also, it'd be nice if the pictures were a tad smaller so they could be completely seen at one time (without scrolling up and down all the time ) - 640 x something is generally what I find best for all pics That said, you've definitely been improving by leaps and bounds - keep it up! Thank you Garm! Glad you like the story, I think it is my personally favoured part of our collab You're right about the connection, I don't really know what I wanted to do, but it didn't turn out as expected. I'll try to remember the adapt the size of my images, thanks! Quote
Exetrius Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Oh my, the story of part 2 is even better! Great build too, of course! Houses with a bridge connecting one part with another are always cool to see! You've done the well very well as well (sorry! ). Quote
LittleJohn Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Superb layout here, with the buildings at an angle to each other! The dark brown and blue go very well together. Nice well too. Quote
