Andy D Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) I just built the 40223 Snow Globe. I am quite impressed... It is a great set, but it also includes some very nice parts, like the dark red brick-bricks and the clear cylinder pieces and the clear radar antenna (Snow Globe top). So impressed that I just bought 2 more on eBay for the nice collection of parts, my Snow Globe will not be used for parts, so I had to buy more. oh yeah, I forgot it also includes a very generous supply of spare/replacement parts! Withacee Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Couldn't agree more. We received t with our Winter Holiday Train We deliberately postponed that buy for this gift. As an extra gift we got an elves polybag with some good parts, too! The globe is a smashing set. One of the best we ever received. On the other hand, we got nothing with the Brick bank. Looking forward to see what's in store for the Assembly square. Hopefully something that fits with it, as did the flower stand with the DA and the balloon stand with the Ferris wheel. Quote
Andy D Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 (edited) I just found some alternate models for the Snow Globe on Rebrickable. I particularly like the living room and ornament shop, these models further illustrate the versitility of this little set. Here are the links... http://rebrickable.com/mocs/PeterSzabo/40223-snowglobe-living-room http://rebrickable.com/mocs/PeterSzabo/40223-ornament-shop http://rebrickable.com/mocs/PeterSzabo/40223-santas-sleigh He even has free PDF instructions for each of the models. I hope you like these MOCs as much as I do. Andy D Edited December 23, 2016 by Andy D Quote
