STL of Antenna 5H with Side Spokes (3144) for 3d printing

Hello,

I'm looking for a printable .STL to 3d print the 'Antenna 5H with Side Spokes (3144)'. Is anyone here to help me out?

I think there are 2 options:

• You can open the LDraw part of 3144 in LDview and then export to LDView
• You can use this Blender plugin to import an LDraw file to Blender. From there, you can export it to whatever 3D format you want (including STL).

I don't know if there are any quality differences between the two (or even if the quality is good enough for 3d printing), so you might want to try both.

I guess you mean "and export to STL"? ;D

Another issue is that LDraw parts are not "watertight" (made of a single mesh enclosing the whole volume of the part). Generally the result is thus not printable as such. This may be "repaired" by using Meshmixer "make solid" function.
