Amazing Bricks Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Do you think they would put me freeze and clay face in a set together? Like both brick builds? Don't see why not, buy they'll probably make them be in separate sets. Clayface seems like he'll be in a more expensive set, while Mr. Freeze will be in a cheaper set. Quote
Brickweiser Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I would be surprised if it wasn't the Batplane showcased in the trailer as its own set or as part of a whole (like they did with BvS batmobile. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 That looks like it would be in a expensive set, they'll probably reveal a $30-$50 set. Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I just looked at the JLA in the trailer analysis and I saw cyborg was shiny could we expect a metallic cyborg? Same with Wonder Woman (her crown) Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 If it follows the Mighty Micros trend then Yahoo will reveal a set tomorrow, personally I'm hoping for the Two-Face one or atleast the one that has Two-Face in it as his appearance in the trailer was very intriguing. Also how much of a chance is there that Lego will showcase the entire Lego Batman Movie line of sets at SDCC? I mean it is the biggest comic convention in the world and would definately be a good place to build up the hype for the movie/sets. Quote

I don't think we'll get something tomorrow, they might be saving the sets for after Monday's big reveal. Quote

Sad to hear that was hoping to get atleast some descriptions of the sets and their respective minifigures, also what do you mean with mondays big reveal? Quote

legobagel Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Correct me if I'm wrong, but Monday is the rumored day for the press release of Cinderella's Castle. Quote

Anonknee Muss Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Sounds good but I hope we get another set reveal today though Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 One of the 13 sets will more than likely be the CMF Quote
Robianco Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 One of the 13 sets will more than likely be the CMF I'm not sure a CMF wave counts as a set. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 One of the thirteen sets will...be the CMF Series. That's not how it works Quote
TheAmazingDarkKnight Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) Please explain CMF Series's aren't usually regarded as sets, but moreover I don't recall any event/convention that has ever unveiled a brand new collectible minifigure series that we've never seen. Usually that's done through another source or officially from Lego themselves. But it's far too early to expect any official images of a minifigure wave that comes out in January. The most I'd expect from SDCC would be an image of one of the figures from the series, similar to what happened with the original Simpsions wave of figures. Other than that, it'll more than likely just be a medium sized movie set. Edited July 10, 2016 by TheAmazingDarkKnight Quote

tafkatb Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 It seems like The LEGO Batman Movie is being marketed pretty similarly to The LEGO Movie, so I think we can get a general idea of when and where things will be revealed by looking at how it was done for TLM. At SDCC we got the official announcement of how many sets there would be, and that there would be a Minifigures series, but the only set actually shown was Super Cycle Chase. A new trailer debuted at the end of October, and the next day two more sets and the Minifigures were revealed through a couple different movie/entertainment sites. After that, the full lineup was shown on the TLM products page with red shrouds draped over them, which were lifted one at a time over the next week, then they were all listed on S@H by mid-November. So my expectation - based on no inside information whatsoever - is that one mid-sized TLBM set will be shown next weekend, and the majority of the reveals will come shortly after the release of a new trailer sometime in the fall.
