A "Little" Mistake...?

Hi Everybody,

Lately, at the BeLUG event, I wone the mini Millenium Falcon in a tombola:

However, when I opened the box, I found the parts en manuel for the mini AT-AT:

This is a bit weird isn't it? I don't really care because I'm not a Star-Wars fan and the AT-AT pieces are more handy then the MF ones.

Does this happen more often?

Sometimes, like the time when I the Sith Intraitor and i got 2 of the same pieces. And my Republic cruiser had 1/2 instructions and the Rebel hoth Base instructions.(Lucky I got the Hoth base and 2/2 Republic Cruiser X-D

Ive never heard it happening before but a few times; and with all the times people have claimed it's happened to them, I'm not sure what to think *wacko*

It does happen, I just would've never thought that often.

I can't even imagine HOW this one could happen. A wrong brick, ok. An entire set?! That's just crazy. You would think that QC was on holiday when they packaged this one :-/ .

I heard it actually happened quite a bit with the mini star wars sets. There was also a brief run of 4483 AT-ATs with AT-TE written on the box, a few people were prepared to pay a premium for thesem but I guess jus thaving a wrong set in the box isn't going to be worth any more.

I saw that same packaging error being sold on ebay last week at a premium price because it was "extremely rare".

Personally i wouldn't pay anymore for it than the normal selling price but i'm tight like that - only tend to buy stuff thats at a good saving these days. i just wait for sales etc to try and build up my collection as a returnee ? to lego after many years away.
