Do we have enough confidence that the Classic theme will continue for 2018, or should we wait verifiable information?

Sir Von Lego is reporting on @BrickWild's 60th Anniversary Prediction thread that there will be five sets pertaining to the anniversary across various themes, one of them a brick bucket possibly belonging to the Classic theme.

Can I making a topic of Classic 2018 sets?

I would either ask one of the moderators if you could, or just wait for verifiable information since it might be possible that the theme will undergo a change of name.

OK. But if the theme will change its name, what will be the new name?

And can I making new topics? Because I made the Seasonal 2018 topic. I made it because I saw that by @Klaus-Dieter:

You're right. One minute ago I created one. (Although I thought that every member can create anew topic.)

I don't if the theme will undergo a name change, that is what I originally asked about. As far as starting a new topic, perhaps Special Themes Forum moderator @Rufus may be the one to ask.

In a disguised Instagram post that I totally missed, there are four sets for the theme next year from catalog prelims, which are...

10712 Bricks and Gears, 10713 Creative Suitcase, 10714 Blue Baseplate, and 10715 Bricks on a Roll.

You mentioned this Instagram post earlier on the modular discussion thread, so I took a look at it again and realized the post contained two other images of the prelims.  So that's what those blue baseplate comments were all about. :hmpf:
