SollX Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I have seen a lot of different people trying to build the clssic T1 VW bus in minifig scale. Though i never think they are really correct, and i thought it could not be done. Then one day i found myself designing one. I still think that it is not possible to build one in this scale. But by making a bit of a ROD out of it, i think i got pretty close. Let me know what you think. and the back: Quote

SollX Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 Thank you for your comments It wasn't a cheap solution to use the popsicle as the mirror, but i think it looks the best. To bad there are no gray or chrome popsicles :P Quote

I recently did one in - well - lets call it a "perfected" minifig scale, where the minifig is as high as a human in real life (170cm). Therefore i have all proportions data taken from wikipedia and merged that into this model. Its almost a perfect 1/42 scale replica when it comes to sizing it down. HIPPEEEY BUS! by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr And you can see its sizing next to a fig here. the math and the height! by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr Only figs wont fit in.... but the fig is the same height, as say a real picture of a person standing next to it http://vintagebus.com/gallery/section/image/2102066.JPG Quote

To me the minifig scale is not a perfect scale. It is building a moc as it could be a lego city lego set. And you bust be able to fit a minifig. I have seen your moc's, and i deffenetly apriciate your work. The cars are very reconisable Altough it is not my style. Quote
