Led strip in lego

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. I want to light my town en uses led strips.

I want to put the led strip in a 1 x 4 plate and 1 x 6 plate. Are there people who did this?

How did you do it, what kind of led strip did you use etc.

There a couple of different people selling plug & play kits for this, I think one is called LifeLites.

But if you know a thing or two about LEDs and resistors and can solder yourself, you can get cheap SMD leds from china tiny enough to fit into almost any brick.
