Norseman Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Hi there, folks. I apologise if this is a breach in communications protocols, but I am wondering what the current state of Andromeda's Gates is. Having recently gotten back into LEGO after almost two decades since putting my bricks in their bucket for the last time as a kid, I found the Eurobricks forums a delight and I've perused almost every MOC in here over the past few weeks. I've noticed that things seem to have really slowed down, with fewer and fewer people building and no contests in quite some time. Is it too late to make the trip through the Gate? Has the Awesomnium-rush come to an end? Quote

You can join Right now and still put in a years worth of builds sure you wont be on the top any time soon. For me It feels like things are just starting to pick up. Quote

rodiziorobs Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 It is true that AG has slowed down in recent months, and there are a number of reasons for that--the initial excitement has died down a little, and BoBS starting over in the pirate forum took a lot of active players--but there are still quite a few of us in each corp that are still playing, although we may not post every week. You are welcome to join any of the three corps or choose to be an independent alien, and then you can post every week or whenever you get around to it. That's one of the nice things about AG, the rules are uncomplicated enough that you can dive in at any time and participate as you are able. Welcome to EB, by the way! Quote
