This was my September entry for the annual contest that my LUG (Comunidade 0937) is hosting.
This was my first ship and also my first MOC in the Pirates theme.
Hope you like it... I sure had fun building it!

La Chartreuse is Captain’s Jack Bourbon famous warship.
It was commandeered many years ago when it was the proud flag ship of Her Majesty’s Armada. Besides being heavily armed… the ship was decorated by the finest artisans in the
known world and no money was spared while choosing the materials to apply in it.

The ship sails used to bore the coat of arms of the Royal Kingdom but it’s said that a long time ago Captain Jack Bourbon saved a mermaid and she was so glad that she offered him a magic enchantment that would give invulnerability to the ship. All he had to do was to spill that bottle over the sail and something great would happen.

Well… it did!

La Chartreuse has win every single battle she was in… and it even defeated alone seven of the strongest ships of the Armada that tried to reclaim the ship.

But this enchantment also had another effect on the ship… the sails turned from white to lime green… and this is from where the name Chartreuse comes from.

I like the playability of your creation and that you combined a few different ideas in one set. Perhaps we can exchange building techniques because I like some of your ideas. I like the story which inspired you to create the set,  When I support a project, as promising as yours,  I always follow both the creation and the creator to be inspired by them. And I like projects with a story behind them. Did you creat it alone?

I'm sorry for the late response.
I'm glad you enjoyed the back story.
Feel free to get inspiration from my MOC.
And yes, this was a "solo MOC"... not a collaboration.
