Vorkosigan Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 This build started with a desire to make the Lone Ranger Constitution engine and tender, once I did I went on to motorize it and add two cars to make a very short train. I mostly built the engine and tender out of my collection with a couple small bricklink orders. The only mods to these are the push rods and adding the motor and receiver in the tender (slightly enlarging it to hide the receiver a bit). Then I built the custom boxcar, which doubles as a place to store the batteries. On top there is a 2x2 spot in the vents that connects to the power button, and the LED can be seen through the vent next to that. Lastly I finished it off with a basic caboose MOC. Quote
Man with a hat Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) Nice work. The boxcab fits really well. Edited September 27, 2016 by Man with a hat Quote

1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Cute little caboose! The whole classic train looks very good. Quote
tnmears Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I really like that boxcar. The bracing is a nice touch and it is nicely compact. Quote
Younge Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I like this a lot. I wish TLC could put this much detail in a steam engine train set. Quote
