[MOC] The Wizard's Tower

I have been working on this thing for a while now and finally decided to finish it since it will never completely become what i initially envisioned. A general lack of time and lack of pieces make the final thing much less epic than what i was planning for, BUT alas, enough with the excuses, here it is now :)

 

 

 

 

 

The whole thing is built on looks ALONE and is actually fragile as hell LOL :(

Keep in mind that this is my very first bigger MOC though, so be gentle :P

Nice work! I like the rockwork on the base, especially the technique that you used for the walkway is interesting, never seen it before. The round tower wall is nice as well.  Some constructive criticism: I think the vine going across is a bit too bright in this context, but you could switch it for a regular green one. The roof is nicely tiled, but it could be more closed, with wedge plates for example. Finally, I'm not sure about the gold details for the door, maybe brown would look more appropriate for a building like this?

The winding pathway is extremely cool Cool round tower too, have you looked into the Guilds of Historica?

I agree with the vine there, but i simply didn't have one in another color :P

Yeah, a simple brown door would be more "realistic" i guess, but then i kinda tried to go with the whole powerful Wizard theme where he can afford an ornate door or something :) Note also the golden half moon on top of the tower to go with it.

The roof was a hard one to get right, and while this isn't perfect by a long shot, it's the best i could come up with. The only inconvenient thing is that from below you can see the inner workings

Nice tower! I have not seen a pathway like that before, it looks great.
