damjan97PL Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Hi Everyone. Today I want to show You my Pick-Up with trailer and quad. Dimensions: -Length: 78 cm -Width: 22 cm -Height: 18 cm -Weight: 2375g -Drive: 1 XL motor -Steering wheel: ServoMotor -Propel the ramps in trailer: 1 M motor Generally I'm content for my build, only about what I worrying is wheter a 1 Xl motor can pull all set in a ratio 1.19:1, but a set drives really nice on flor. I modeled a pick-up on a american constructions hence a twin wheels on a rear axle and a big V8 engine :) A truck has a ful suspension (front-independent/ rear-live axle), rear wheel drive and front LED lights. I don't forget about interior. Unfortunately instead rear seats we find a BaterryBox. Of course are a openable door, front hood and rear flap. It has a working steering wheel. The trailer is a standart 2 axle trailer with ramps. For propel a ramps is a M motor with 1:2.77 ratio. For steering is a PF Switch placed under the rear pick-up crate. Maybe a trailer is not a beatifull, but it fulfill the task. Regarding a quad it is a my version of a 9392 set. Only what I chnge in it is a colour for a yellow and I add a hardest rear spring. At the front suspension are my design wishbones. I am waiting for Your comments :D Brickshlef gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=565986 Flickr galerry (high resolution) : https://www.flickr.com/photos/124730997@N05/albums/72157670480866664 Edited September 23, 2016 by damjan97PL Quote
deraven Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Looks great. Actually, I really like the trailer design. It's sturdy and functional, and having powered ramps surely makes it a luxury trailer! Just on the aesthetics of the pickup, I like the roof rack and lights, and the faux engine under the hood is nice as well. Quote
grum64 Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 What great builds. Looks ready for action Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 That looks really nice, the idea is great. It may just be where I live, with lots of off-roaders, but the pickup seems like the ground clearance should be a little higher. Quote
Boulderer Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I really like the look of this. Looks like a sturdy construction. Quote
BusterHaus Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Nice set, I like the trailer a lot and your solution for the steering hubs on the quad is quite good. You can make the text in your video a bit easier to read by using a thicker font with either a black outline or a shadow behind it. Quote
