quark12000 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) Hi! I'm just getting into Lego at the ripe age of 50! Blame the Doctor Who set, it pulled me in. I've also built the Captain America Civil War Airport Battle set; love the Giant-Man figure! The expense of this hobby is a little daunting, but I plan to go slowly. I'm kind of interested in the Modular Building sets. Any recommendations for a very new builder? Thanks and hello from the USA! Edited September 8, 2016 by quark12000 Quote
dr_spock Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Welcome to Eurobricks. There are quite a few of us 50+ here. I think waiting for sale can help with the hobby expenses but modulars usually don't go on sale. Quote
BrickJagger Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Welcome! In my opinion, the best modular on the market right now is the Parisian Restaurant, released in 2014. Quote
