Want to build a church out of a Hogwarts' Castle

Hi, I'm pretty new so go easy on me for my first new topic in this forum! *sweet*

I'm a town builder who wants to have all the realistic life essentials in my town such as a library, a school, and a church. I bought the 5378 Hogwart's castle on sale with the hopes of turning it into a church but I am kind of a novice builder and am struggling with inspiration.

I searched on brickshelf and found some really beautiful churches but none that were derived from hogwarts castle sets. I don't have the money to buy endless sets to accumulate enough bricks to create the spectacular all-white cathedrals I've seen on brickshelf, and I was really hoping to just adapt one set or possibly combine two.

Has anyone does this? Does anyone have a "Hogwarts Church" in their town that they're proud of and that they could show off? I think I could build a decent one but I'm just not sure where to start.

If you just look at some examples of non-Hogwarts churches you could make something on your own and build an example for people who want to make in the future such a church. You're giving me a great idea here, I just bought the 4757 Hogwarts Castle, but currently I don't want to break it off because it is such a nice castle.

I think in the future I am going to make something like a Hogwarts church. Build it and show it to us! 8-

If you don't have a lot of slope bricks, you could use hinges and plates to make a roof like this person did:

Like that small church. Am planning to make the new Town Plan sets more modular to fit in with Shelf City, and that would be a good template for the church I am going to build out of the town hall part!

That small church is really neat, and I also like the use of plates as roofing. Ive seen that technique some Mocs before, and it was also used in the alternate construction of the cafe corner. Simple yet effective.
