A small speeder, the Banshee is little more than an engine and a seat. The concept from the start was speed and agility, there are no safety features. The pilots wear a helmet out of a lack of windscreen more than for protection - in the Banshee there are no "small" crashes. Many have called the Banshee a widowmaker because of the reputation for lethality, but it is a very rewarding choice for those capable of piloting it. The speed is instant, the reaction time is nearly telepathic, the power to weight ratio is 2:1, all creating a recipe for an unmatched performer.

The Banshee is the answer to the question of what could be built if money was no object. The craft, despite the dimunitive size, costs on par with small spaceships. The best systems were pulled together and then made better. The best parts were chosen and then made lighter. The materials used are all very exotic and mating many of the different kinds together presented numerous challenges that were eventually overcome, but also added to the overall development cost. Though each Banshee is only slightly profitable, it is said that Octan's accountants were kept away from the project, and thus it survived. Some have commented that this would be an ideal special forces insert/extraction platform, but Octan has denied it has been used outside of racing.

Really nice job! The shape of it is cool. It looks dangerous, with the two slope parts in the front serving to be somewhat reminiscent of fangs on a black beast. Also, I love the flavor text! great stuff there!
