Jurss Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Another one, because there will be at least 3 entries with useless boxes. Started to build something. Edited October 18, 2016 by Jurss Quote
Alex Ilea Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 i never understand how this useless things work , after all , if you win something with it , it isn't that useless ;) Quote
allanp Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 I haven't built one of these, but from I understand you need to add a second cylinder and a second valve. I would guess the sequence of events is as follows: 1) The operator (you) moves the first valve. 2) the first valve controls the first cylinder, so it moves. 3) the first cylinder is connected to the second valve, so that is switched. 4) the second valve controls the second cylinder, so now that moves. 5) the second cylinder is connected to the lever, so now that moves up and collides with the lever of the first valve to return the first valve to it's start position. 6) the first valve controls the first cylinder, so now that moves back to it's start position. 7) the first cylinder is connected to the second valve, causing that to now switch back to it's start position. 8) the second valve controls the second cylinder, so now that moves back to it's start position. 9) As the second cylinder is connected to the lever, this will now also return back to it's start position, and the device has now reset itself. 10) dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA! 11) ??? 12) Profit! Jurss Posted September 1, 2016 Author Posted September 1, 2016 Make it simple. Here idea is so, that with inertia that arm changes position of pneumatic switch. I trying now to make that inertia enough. Last conclusion - need to bring that switch lower, and outside box will be some kind of extension of it. Motor and pump will be always working by this concept. Quote
Kristof Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Always working compressor? I'm not sure if that is a good choice for a contraprion like this. Quote
MRP_ Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 it's actually kind of annoying how complicated this is when you just stop and think about it... perhaps you could use some shock absorbers to help certain parts? Quote
Jurss Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 In my concept shock absorbers are not plannet (yet ). I will tray also connect battery switch to all system, I think it is possible. I don't look for easy solutions, but for simple ones. Quote

Jurss Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 (edited) http://youtu.be/Np8j9TTZUrI http://youtu.be/Np8j9TTZUrI How to embed video?! Edited October 19, 2016 by Jurss Quote
RohanBeckett Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np8j9TTZUrI Paste it in like this, and just let it sit for a second, it should 'convert' to an embedded video (I clicked the link - display as link) it might have to be the full www.youtube.com link, rather than the youtu.be one Quote
Jay Psi Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 (edited) Like this. You do need to use the full Youtube link, the code cannot read youtu.be links (yet?) Edited October 19, 2016 by Jay Psi Quote
