Hello everyone,

garden railway manufacturer LGB has just announced a G-scale waggon chassis (narrow gauge, 45 mm track width) compatible "with the blocks of well-known manufacturers available in most toy stores", as they say:

Seems to be quite simple, but perhaps it could be a start for a real LEGO garden railway movement...

It's a nice idea, but if they want to really get the Lego crowd, they need to start offering Lego compatible wheelsets and couplings etc, having seen Tenderlok's own fantastic Gscale Lego builds, i'd certainly be interested in dabbling with G if it was *fully* compatible with Lego. Would give me an excellent jumping on point.

The clip-on block car is a really nice start. Hopefully we'll have a clip-on block locomotive (or at least power bogie) some time soon.
