Sven J Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Hello everyone, garden railway manufacturer LGB has just announced a G-scale waggon chassis (narrow gauge, 45 mm track width) compatible "with the blocks of well-known manufacturers available in most toy stores", as they say: Link to company's website Seems to be quite simple, but perhaps it could be a start for a real LEGO garden railway movement... garethjellis Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 This is a really fun way to include the kiddos in your G Scale hobby. I like the idea, Quote
dr_spock Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Neat idea. I think it would be nice if they can make outdoor tracks in the LEGO track gauge of 37.5mm. Quote
Brickwolf Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Great idea! I would like to have one (and a LGB as well). I already have a HO "Clip-On Block Car" : Edited August 31, 2016 by Brickwolf Quote
Redimus Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 It's a nice idea, but if they want to really get the Lego crowd, they need to start offering Lego compatible wheelsets and couplings etc, having seen Tenderlok's own fantastic Gscale Lego builds, i'd certainly be interested in dabbling with G if it was *fully* compatible with Lego. Would give me an excellent jumping on point. Quote
Dan-147 Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 The clip-on block car is a really nice start. Hopefully we'll have a clip-on block locomotive (or at least power bogie) some time soon. Dan-147 Quote
