On the other hand, we need an big rebellion vessel as counterweight for the Star Destroyer, so maybe:

Home One! (not easy to build such a round shape with bricks!)

or a Nebula-B (surely not enough against a SD, but very nice)

Welcome to EB, MiniGreavy!

I totally agree with you: Some sort of Mon Calamari Cruiser would be an absolutely must and I hope TLC will release one in the last three years that are left to release Lego Star Wars sets if Lego doesn't elongate its license on SW products.

But I personally would prefer non-UCS styled Mon Calamari Cruiser - a minifig version like the Imperial Star Destroyer from 2006 would be very nice!

Personally I think one of the best ideas is one Home One for minifigs (like the sandcrawler a little more big like 2000+ pieces with rebel members, Admiral Ackblar, Mon Calamari (warriors, pilots, etc.) and a Mon Mothma *wub* . and a Minifigure Tyridum is an other great idea with Rebel endor troops and Luke, Leia and Han Solo in endor outfit. *wub* :'-) 8-

Ok,

so we won't get any fighters or space vessel. Quite dissappointing for me :'-( Think I head for the Tie Advanced or X-Wing (used for sure ;-) )

Why do they build DS (I), thought that only a few bought DS II???

Your question is authorized.

But since we all (or at least the most of us) hope for a Death Star as a "normal" SW set with minifigs and nice interior it would be something totally different to a "simple" UCS set. But of course we don't know until know what the Death Star really will be like - but an UCS set is in my opinion not very realistic - and I even hope that it will be no UCS set!
