Lego2016Lego Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) does a dump truck like this http://cdn2.milamtrk...268-400x300.jpg have the front axel motorized? Edited August 30, 2016 by Lego2016Lego Quote
Alex Ilea Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 dump trucks are usually AWD so i think that is AWD Quote
Lego2016Lego Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Ok thank you! And I am asking because I am making a massive dump truck like that! Quote
TheItalianBrick Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 dump trucks are usually AWD so i think that is AWD definitely not, more likely to have only the rear axles to be driven. As most of the dump trucks...whether american or european ones. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Both answers are legitimate, some dump trucks have all wheels driven, but most do not. So, you could go either way with it. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 The dump truck pictured doesn't have power to the front wheels, and most dump trucks in the U.S. don't. Not sure about Europe. I have seen some salt trucks and light duty dump trucks (Ford F350, F450, etc) with power to the front wheels though. Quote
Kristof Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 All dump trucks that are meant to go off road have AWD. But still it's a minority I think. Though most manufacturers offer models with AWD. And newer dump truck have this feature more often, especially these big 8 axis ones :) Quote
