[Challenge 5] [Cat C] The Stinger

The Stinger is the racing ship of Kaylee Gresham for the GARC. She has been quite successful in piloting the ship in her races and enjoys the ships attributes since they fit in well with her style. Though it is a larger vessel it has very powerful engines which allow instant acceleration. The dorsal mounted "stinger" is actually a heat venting system that allows the engines to operate at full power for extended periods of time with no degradation. And the large sensor system mounted on the bottom of the ship helps project the best path into her helmet and can even course correct for her if she cannot keep up with the inputs. Though still a privateer effort mostly because she is still considered a rookie, her rapid climb through the ranks has certainly gotten her noticed and major sponsorships are likely just around the corner. For now Octan's backing is largely behind the scenes.

Looks like the K9 robot from Dr. Who! Interesting design and a dangerous looking GARC! Love the explanation for the stinger. Cleverly thought-through. I'd like to believe that the sword pieces on my own GARC serve a similar purpose.
