King_Arthur Posted October 13, 2016 Author Posted October 13, 2016 (edited) I post here my last suggestion for improving this project. Some printed parts, I would like to produce by people who use printing pad process. If somebody in this forum knows some guys working in this field, please let me a comment. Don't forget to support this on LEGO.IDEAS. Edited October 13, 2016 by King_Arthur Quote
kingodacheez Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 (edited) Wow! I thought I was the only one who loves this show. This is an excellent build, and the building instructions are easy to follow. Thank you for this,King_Arthur; you've made an 'old' sci-fi geek VERY happy today! According to the previous size comparison images; the Mattel Eagle 1 ship from the '70s is pretty close to being minifig scale. How cool is that? Edited October 13, 2016 by kingodacheez Quote

How cool is that? You're right. I didn't had one myself when I was kid. I used to play with my older brother's kit models. But you have your point after googling, you're right, the scales may match. I always wonder, why the eagle toys, from Mattel or Dinky, have the main engines painted in red ? Quote
kingodacheez Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 (edited) Those are some great figures! I wonder who makes those... (edit) WOW! What a great thread. Edited October 22, 2016 by kingodacheez Question was answered. Quote

He put into pieces his own old Mattel Eagle and rebuild it like new. He did the same with these minifigures. Quote
LazarusLong Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Hello King Arthur My father and I were a fan of Space 1999, amongst other sci-fi, and grew up with them. I have recently stumbled upon your Eagle Transporter and would love to build it. Most links are old and the only guidance I could find are the ones you uploaded at LEGO Ideas. Would it be possible to get the building instructions some other way than at MOC-pages? This link is no longer available... Quote
