syclone Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) I love where this little thing is going, keep it up! Remember the "big bro" 8110 ? Found this in an internet search about Unimog, tracked down to the original Brickshelf folder and found this: http://www.brickshel...-UNIMOG/001.jpg[/img] Awesome prototype , I hope it is still alive... Regarding the entry, I have made some prototyping on the rear lights; althought not exactly like the real ones , they're better than round ones EDIT: Why BBcode resizing doesn't works?? Kristof Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Wow that evolution is really interesting. It clearly tels the reasons for some design decisions i.e. the new wheelhubs :D Also it's surprising that they started with medium sized model and grew into huge flagship :O Quote
Imanol BB Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 You are making an excellent work LXF, those pics of the small prototype Unimog are very nice, and a bit nostalgic for me, it reminds me the time when i was about to get the 8110. Quote

I remember seeing it in the lego catalog , I was admiring it from the images back then, and still doing it nowPROGRESS: I have a prototype of the crane. syclone Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 (edited) Things are coming along nicely. Keep up the good work. Thanks!Spent what was left of the day trying to figure out the shape of the cabin and the routing of the pneumatic hoses, decided to take a break until the required pieces arrive. For some reason I want to build something yellow, probably because I haven't used that color before. Edited August 22, 2016 by LXF Quote
Kristof Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Not that I wouldn't like yellow, but for this truck, I think it's not the best choice :) I'd love white or blue. Quote

Sorry for confusion, the Mog will be green - I will maintain my TC colorscheme , the yellow will be used in one of my future MOCs :) Quote
KamalMYafi Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Why BBcode resizing doesn't works?? I've asked that on "HELP!!!" topic, and Brickdoctor said: If I remember correctly, we disabled that because it doesn't actually resize the image, only the size at which it's displayed. The full size image still has to be loaded. P.S: Sorry to Brickdoctor, because i quoted you to here. Quote
syclone Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) PROGRESS: I've got a HOG. The space between the cab and the bed will be 3 studs, it is required for the mechanism of bed,the HOG and to route the pneumatics from the cabine. Will post pictures very soon (15 minutes) Unfortunately the Unimog has been cannibalized for some pieces HOG by Alaxaf, on Flickr HOG by Alaxaf, on Flickr Edited August 28, 2016 by LXF Quote
