GoldenNinja3000 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 A snow monster in the new ice palace? Must be Marshmallow! Disappointed in the lack of Hans, but this new palace sounds AMAZING! I was okay with the last one because of all the awesome parts and because I love ice themed Lego sets, but I never bought it. Hopefully I'll get this one. Any word on the price? Quote
Soupperson1 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Did you see the juniors Disney Princess Frozen set as well? I'm so shocked to see Anna gets two new outfits, her horse appears (who is gold in the movie so hopefully that'll change in the end) and Marshmellow! Does Anna get a new hairpiece with braids or does she use one of her existing two? And what outfit is Elsa wearing in her Ice Palace? I'm glad to see you like these sets as that's usually a good indicator they're good! (Sorry I'm bombarding you with questions, but thanks so much! :D) Any word on the price? I think the rumored price was around €60 Quote
sousmarineuse Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Same questions about Anna and Elsa. Happy with Marshmallow and snowgies! Moana's sets look great. Quote
Robert8 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 So Elsa's Magic Palace is a remake of the 2015 set? Quote
Soupperson1 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 So Elsa's Magic Palace is a remake of the 2015 set? Yep but, *gasp* they seem to be trying to make it movie accurate (except for slides, all Disney Princess sets will have slides! >:D) Quote
PicnicBasketSam Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Bigfig with minidoll head? I sincerely hope that's just prelim pictures being weird, because otherwise... Also, how old are these prelim pics? Seems like they're always very early in development... Quote
Lego Matt 809 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Do the sets look more movie accurate? Quote
Robert8 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) To be accurate it would need to be like 100% made of trans blue pieces Also, if the mini snow monsters are there, then this is not the palace from the film Edited September 15, 2016 by Robert8 Quote
sousmarineuse Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 At the end, in frozen fever, snowgies go to Elsa's palace. Marshmallow open the door. To end the disaster Quote
Jern92 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Argh more Frozen sets? I currently have Elsa's Ice Castle, Olaf's Summertime Fun and that sled set with Kristoff. Figured it would be enough to set up a proper diorama based on the original film, but now they have to release more? I haven't bought the big castle from Frozen Fever because it's not part of the original movie, but a part of me is tempted to get all of them just to set them up for display. Quote
kirkwoodproductions Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Wouldn't it be cool to have a play feature in the new Frozen castle where you place Coronation Dress Elsa on a podium, turn something and it spins to reveal the Elsa from the original castle ...? Probably a bit optimistic, but I'm at least hoping for Coronation Dress Elsa to be in the set Quote

The castle is in the main movie, the Frozen Fever aspects are just the dresses, party stuff and snowgies :P Quote
sunhuntin Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I got the Frozen Fever castle, and ended up covering it with the Disney minifigs. Took it to a public display last week where it proved rather popular with the kids. Quote
Toc13 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Suzette's set translates as 'Riding Facility/Encampment'. Not that it will induce me to get any Palace Pet sets Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Has Olaf's lack of "hair" been corrected? Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Nope Thanks for the info. Quote
LegoRomania Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I really like the new Disney sets. But I'm dissapointed that the smaller sets are palace pets Quote
FortNerd Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 The Moana sets look fun (I wouldn't mind getting the boat one, but where would I put it?) D: Frozen castle is meh. I hope we at least get the missing princesses in the summer wave. Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana & Snow White still don't have their own set :/ Quote

Krulis Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I may get Moana set. I love the Maui bigfig. Quote

1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I'm still not happy with Elsa's palace. I think they need to go bigger, and also the model doesn't feel smooth enough. Quote
