Hinckley Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 Hey spamtastic, what's with the blank response? Also, the second sign doesn't warn the driver, it just informs him that the children who are playing happen to be dim bulbs. And it's spelled l-o-s-i-n-g. Get a dictionary and look up loose and lose and report back with the difference. I think it's time to call an official winner in this and it's the guy with better grammar and spelling skills: Congratulations MicVash! PM with with PSPGuy's new avatar and I'll change it for you. Captain Green Hair Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I do have to give you some credit, SlyOwl. The use of random pieces that can be used in a different way other than what they were intended really helped me; like using wizard hats for pouring water and such. I really do admire your creativity and superb detailing. However, I can't give you all the credit though, because the use of snakes for gizzards was really inspired by whoever did the Beowulf MOC. Now THAT had some intense gore. Woa thanks for pointing that out, that made me laugh so hard i pissed my pants :-D :-D :-D Quote
UniqueBuilder Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 And it's spelled l-o-s-i-n-g. Get a dictionary and look up loose and lose and report back with the difference. I'm gonna kill my 'teacher' for teaching me the exact opposite.. :-| Congrats MicVash! ;-) Quote
MicVash Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I think it's time to call an official winner in this and it's the guy with better grammar and spelling skills: Congratulations MicVash! PM with with PSPGuy's new avatar and I'll change it for you. Congrats MicVash! ;-) Thank you, guys. I guess taking those English AP classes paid off! :-D I didn't want to assume I'd win so I'm not finished with the avatar quite yet. Quote
Siegfried Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Congratulations MicVash. *sweet* I look forward to seeing his new avatar. Try to not be too mean.... oh, what the heck, be mean! Be mean! >:-) Both entries were good though; PSPguy's was much better than I thought it would be... Quote
Hinckley Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 And so ends another great Smackdown. And you spelled every word right! 8- Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Or maybe yuo didnt. That was painful! In other unrelated news: Congratulations To PSPguy for getting a silver medal and Micvash for coming first, hence getting a gold medal/pie! Quote
Hinckley Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 PSPGuy's punishment is in place. It shall stay in place for two weeks. At which time he will be allowed to change his avatar back and his title will return to his old one. Here's a word from MicVash on why he chose this particular avatar: First...some background if you would like a reason for the inspiration of this avatar.Wait untill you see how I built you. Jar Jar I AM NOT A JAR JAR!!! Jar Jars, according to Mike Rayhawk, are "As you'd expect from a painting with this much detail, it's peppered with in-jokes for the nerderati; I'll point out the two in specific. In the left corner are the zombie-like Dimmies, enemies of construction quality and good taste, who breed in swarms and make intermittent dull-witted attacks on brick civilization. In the right corner are the filtheriffic Jaw-Jaws, eaters of sewage, maniacally determined to defile everything that is good and true. The two are the chief villains of the BrikWars universe, and both are less-than-subtle references to the lowest depths to which LEGO had historically sunk (prior to the Galidor theme, after which any further satirization is moot). " That's it PSPguy! *sing* At first I had no enemies on EB, but now......oh yes...you've made yourself one. Fiend! There you have it. Thanks for having a fun competition, guys. *sweet* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 A good choice of avatar I have to say! I find it amusing! *y* Quote
yoda601 Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Haha, they were both great, but MicVash's was best. So, I voted for him. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Congratiulations Micvash! Good choice on the avatar! *sweet* Tough luck sppgyu! Captain Crunch out! Quote
Piranha Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I voted for Micvash! He whacked the Crap out of PSPguy :-D A very funny entry and I love whacking scenes! PSPguy did a great job too, but the popcorn wasn't too great of a whacking device, If I built it I would have used the screen to whack Micvash :-P Congrats to the winner! P Quote
