Sir Dillon Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Going purely by which creation I like more, I voted for MicVash. While PSPguy's creation is an okay idea, getting whacked with popcorn seems more irritating than painful, whereas I don't think PSPguy will be recovering from that shark beating anytime soon. *y* Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Micvash it is, simply the funniest and therefore most creative to me! *y* Oh and PSPguy, did you really had to whack the guy in the movie too? :-D :-D Quote
Hinckley Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Yea I did Captain Crunch. If only that sentence had a comma in it somewhere... 8-| Quote
Siegfried Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 If only that sentence had a comma in it somewhere... 8-| Hmmm. Let's hope he doesn't make a vig of that... Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Captain crunch??? Harrr you like smackdowns don't ya?? :-D :-D Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I voted for MicVash's creation, as I think it was more original and as several other members pointed out, being whacked with a shark is likely to be more painful than being whacked with popcorn, also the photography of PSPguy's vignette is rather blurry. Quote
Lt. Veers Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I voted for PSPguy. Who knew popcorn could be so lethal? *hands folder labled "Operation P-bomb" to stormtrooper* Quote
KimT Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 QUOTE(PSPguy @ Jan 2 2008, 11:50 PM) Yea I did Captain Crunch. If only that sentence had a comma in it somewhere... 8-| ROFL - this voting is getting stranger and stranger by each post. KimT Quote

PSPguy Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Captain crunch??? Harrr you like smackdowns don't ya?? :-D :-D Let me rephrase you: I like loosing Samckdowns Captain Crunch. Now wheres that comma go?? Oh right here, Quote
KimT Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Let me rephrase you: I like loosing Samckdowns Captain Crunch. Now wheres that comma go?? Oh right here, Who's Samckdowns Captain Crunch? And shouldn't it be Captain Samckdowns Crunch?? - in a grammar sense of speaking?! e.g title before name. KimT Quote

KimT Believe or not, I think he was actually telling Captain Crunch that he enjoying loosing Samckdowns, whoever that is... Anyway, correct comma use is no laughing matter. It's the difference between "Slow, children playing" and "Slow children playing." Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Instead of 'jumping the shark' he seems to be... whacking the shark?... Ha..ha.. Shark whacking originality ON. :-D Quote
MicVash Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Instead of 'jumping the shark' he seems to be... whacking the shark?... Ha..ha..Shark whacking originality ON. :-D Thanks, Brickmaster. At first I was trying to build an obscene, godlike hammer, but that's just too typical. I sat there among my scattered piles of LEGOs, looked in one of the bins, and saw the shark. "Hmm...this is a cool looking piece, but I've practically never used you. Oh well, time to shine, my pet." I'll think I'll try this strategy with my next MOC, because I have no clue what to build. SlyOwl Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I voted MicVash. Why? Better photos and he must be truly great if he can discover the same gore techniques as me! Clicky - I used a snake here as flowing blood! Actually, looking back at it now, it seems he commented on it... Well done, and I'm sure you've deserved the win. Obviously. I rather like the idea of smackdowns, but not in the whack-a-fig style - not my, well, style... SlyOwl Quote

The use of random pieces that can be used in a different way other than what they were intended really helped me; like using wizard hats for pouring water and such. I really do admire your creativity and superb detailing. However, I can't give you all the credit though, because the use of snakes for gizzards was really inspired by whoever did the Beowulf MOC. Now THAT had some intense gore. Quote
