It depends, do you mean sets, or sorted parts?

Sorry to be picky, but its LEGO, not LEGO's. The word LEGO itself is plural. Its one of those things that is very easy to miss.

The most efficient way of storing LEGO in a limited space is to build a solid brick without leaving any gaps. Although obviously not the best solution when you want to retrieve specific parts.

The solution is clearly going to depend on what size your collection is, how diverse your collection is, how you like to build, what space you have available, what storage system you already have, what you are willing to pay for the storage containers, etc.

Judging by your youtube videos, I assume you are talking about sets. Just buy as much shelves as possible and put everything on those. Ikea (not sponsored) has the Ivar, a system I use myself. Just normal shelves, no glass in front, so you still need to dust everything off every once in a while...

Sorry about the LEGO and add an 's to it lol.

But yes they are sets. I don't really like to purchase stuff just for parts and I like to keep my sets on displays.

I'm a little confused. When you say storing, you mean putting your sets into boxes or do you mean displaying them?

If the former, then what I would do is get big ziploc bags and take them apart, put the manual in them and then get some large plastic tubs to put them in. That way they will be relatively safe and easy to get if you want them.

If you mean display, then just get lots of shelves, either bookcase type things, install shelves on your wall, etc.

Last question, are you thinking more on the line of storing them assembled, or partially disassembled in zip lock bags? Edited by BrickCurve

I have been considering when just putting them in zip lock bags completely disassembled if they end up taking up too much space. I like that idea to pit them in a plastic tub and keep them safe and stuff. Hadnt really thought of that
