M2m Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 This has been bugging me for some time and I need help Is there a way to fill the gap: Basically I want to have a yellow colored curved line embedded in the wall. Any way to do it ? Am I missing a part ? Thanks in advance Quote
Mesabi Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Maybe you could use a hose piece? It would add some texture though. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Could you use a stack of not fully engaged 1x1 plates? Or even tiles if you have something behind it to help keep them from falling out. Quote
BrickCurve Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Perhaps a stack of 1 x 1 round plates would work if Vorkosigan's techniques doesn't work. Quote
rollermonkey Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 (edited) That's kind of interesting that it doesn't exist. I mean, it's 3x3 studs, but in brick/arch numbering order, it works out to 1 x 4 x 2.667 A 1x3x2 is the one beneath and a 1x4x3 isn't round on top or bottom. I was trying to think of a way to use a 3x3 disc, 3x3 dish, or 3x3 round plate, but those would only back-fill the opening, not give the smooth surface I suspect you want. if there was a 3x3 macaroni brick that'd be close, maybe tiling it would be better, but that doesn't exist either. Certainly an interesting gap in parts. Would a stack of 1x1 tiles be large enough to be an illegal solution? Edited July 31, 2016 by rollermonkey Quote

I think he/she want to make in LDD (because as i see he/she usually build with LDD), so it will be really hard to make that or even impossible. Edited August 1, 2016 by KamalMYafi Quote

M2m Posted August 3, 2016 Author Posted August 3, 2016 Thanks for the feedback.. Bummer Lego Group "forgot" that part Anyway I have 2 solutions in LDD Quote
Boettner Builds Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 The left looks a little like a sad attempt, but the right side looks like a cool little detail on purpose! Quote
