uefchen Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 I really wanted to build a hovercraft, but the performance of the currently available Lego Propeller not create lift. Unfortunately, the range of the Lego remote control is quite limited, so the I do not want to risk driving on a lake or the same. . Have fun looking and reverse engineering. Greeting üfchen Quote
Appie Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 That's awesome. At first I thought the propeller wasn't Lego, but even that is Lego. Very cool. I really like your creative models. Quote
SevenStuds Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Works very well! I recently bought a few of those propellers to build something similar. Good to see you still find use in those old motors. Quote
Moz Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 That's really impressive. The combo of finally a decent propeller and the high speed motors is genius. I like that you have a decent steering angle too, so you can get the maneuverability. Quote
Victor Imaginator Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Meditative video, great music choice) Best lego airboat that i ever seen, it works so smooth. Quote
davidroberts01341 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Wow! A Lego propeller that really works! Have you seen Jeremy McCreary's experiments with Lego Power Functions boats, over on MOCpages? http://www.moc-pages.com/folder.php/178225 Quote
Chade Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) I never thought it was possible to make an air propelled boat with just lego parts. Great job. I love the video too, it's very relaxing. Edited July 10, 2016 by Chade Quote

vmln8r Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Excellent work! The axle-propellor connection is neat. Quote
