Hi everyone, I recently received a lot of lego minifigs with a Luminara light-up which came without the whole arm of the lightsaber. I wonder if anyone knows how to get spare parts to rebuild this. I thought about bricklink but, since the minifigure appears as "cannot be inventoried", there are no spar parts for sale.

Any ideas? Do you think getting in touch with Lego and crying at their door would work? :)

Thanks a lot & kind regards,

David

Unfortunately I think you might be out of luck. Don't give up hope looking for one though. I cleaned up a lightup DV recently, it seems that the electronic function of the minifig is dependent on the wiring inside that armed

You can take off the back of the torso and try to rewire it, but atlas is correct; the electronics are in both the torso and the arm, and repairing it won't be as simple as finding an LUL arm and popping it back in. Taking off the arm breaks the minifig, so I'd be surprised if someone was selling them separately.

Bricklink, (part 987 I think). Make sure any arms you buy are new, as they're prone to cracking. I haven't looked recently but I'm pretty sure that the light up arms on the left hand side are just normal ones. And a hand of course

Actually they aren't. I tried that first. They must have made the joint piece that goes into the torso shorter on the light-up figures because a regular arm will not go all the way into the torso.

A regular arm probably does not fit due to the electronics and the batteries which are inside the torso...try filing a regular arm.
