wissamms Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) Hello, Maybe some of you have seen this video: Beside the fact that he has motorised absolutely everything, what surprises me here is that there are no actuators. Any idea on how he manages to lift the main boom? Thank you Edited July 1, 2016 by wissamms Quote
ddeklerk Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 It is hard to make out from the video alone, but perhaps the boom is lifted by a wire and pulley system? Quote
Milan Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 what surprises me here is that there are no actuators. Any idea on how he manages to lift the main boom? There is actuator. Big one, with two rams, powered by two XL motors, visible nicely at 3:15. Actuator is based on standard brickbuilt actuator with gear racks and worm gears. Quote

MaxSupercars Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Really impressive. Not the best looking, but impressive. The guy got more videos with this mobile crane. Max Quote
