Finished the 816 RX

I wet for a bit of futuristic design and I hope to receive some feedback about it.

Shall I remove the Mindstorms logo, or it looks good?

Finally posting this, my dream Porsche...

  • It uses 81.6 x 38 R tyres
  • RC buggy motor for drive
  • M-motor with custom return-to-center

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It looks interesting to say the least. This is not what I expect when I think of a Porsche. Of course I don't know a lot about cars, but anyway... Perhaps that will win you some points in the originality department.

Interesting. I wouldn't think of this as a conventional Porsche, but I guess the headlights do look Porsche-like.

Finally someone who builds an actual "dream Porsche" and not an existing model!

Thanks! I though that something was missing from those Porsches people build, and had that chassis in my mind for quite some time :)

Thanks!

I like the piece you used under the steering mechanism! It's hardly ever used because of its weird shape.

Thanks! I started using it because it has a lot of mounting points for axles and allows you to greatly reinforce the structure with thin liftarms.

So a cayenne on steroids and meth then? looks very interesting!

Thanks!

Believe me or not, but only from this forum I got to know about three types of drugs *huh*

That's awesome! It's so original and detailed. Why are the 9L links in the back in this picture under stress?

Fixed! Those 5l liftarms were placeholders because I ran out of pieces .Then I completely forgot about that :sceptic:

Sorry for crappy photo, tomorrow I promise making a decent quality one , my studio light is the sun and at 10 pm there isn't much

I like the use of the trans Red liftarms..they don't get much love or attention sadly. I have about 10 of them brand new.

Thanks! Got mine from 8649 and cannot stop using them!

This is brilliant. Maybe swap the "mindstorm" logo and add instead/or with a Porsche logo and that would complete the front end I reckon.

Thanks!
